Video by Katarzyn Kozyra at the exhibition 'Wild Exaggeration'

2009-07-18
Haifa
The group show “Wild Exaggeration. The Grotesque Body in Contemporary Art” focuses on the theme of the grotesque in contemporary art. The featured works include two video pieces by Katarzyna Kozyra in which the artist appears as Lou Salome – in the gardens of the Vienna Schwarzenberg Palace – training two actors dressed as dogs, in masks that are strikingly similar to Nietzsche and Rilke.
The exhibition is curated by Tami Katz-Freiman.
